All discussions in counselling are confidential and client records are protected by the Data Protection Act (2000).
Duration of personal therapy differs between individuals. Some benefit from as few as 3-4 sessions while others continue longer. Endings are usually agreed in advance though clients may end therapy at any time, at their own discretion.
Counselling is not always easy, and there are no quick fixes! We attempt to assess progress and method at all times, in consultation with you. Our goal is not only to listen but also to understand, and to support you through any period of change or self-development.
