All discussions in counselling and psychotherapy are confidential, although there are some legal exceptions that will be explained in the first meeting.

We follow the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's published code of professional ethics.

All client records are protected by the Data Protection Act and no client information is shared with any third party. Exceptions to this policy may occur only where necessary to protect the safety of clients or others.

We will not contact clients on any telephone number or at any address if explicitly asked not to.

No information is gathered through the use or operation of this website that can identify visitors to the site. Anonymous visitor statistics are collected to measure the level of site traffic and the usefulness of the counselling & psychotherapy information contained here.

Any concerns regarding privacy or confidentiality, or any comments regarding our therapy services should be submitted in writing to the Director.
