personalCOUNSELLING

People seek counselling or psychotherapy for many different reasons. These are just some of the issues we have helped our clients explore and resolve:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Self-esteem and confidence issues
  • Issues with personal relationships
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Addictions
  • Sex & sexuality issues (including gay, lesbian and bisexual issues)
  • Sexual abuse issues
  • Concerns around work and career
  • Health & well-being issues
  • Coping with transition
  • Eating disorders
  • Deliberate self-harm
  • Depression

Many of us can benefit from having a space to talk to someone. We believe that psychological services should be widely available and we are dedicated to providing professional counselling and psychotherapy to residents in London.

Our qualified therapists provide a confidential, safe place where clients can talk openly.  At the first appointment clients are welcomed into private, comfortable therapy rooms to discuss their concerns and personal hopes from counselling. This initial consultation with us will provide an opportunity to discuss therapy and will allow space to explore any concerns about the counselling or psychotherapy process. These first appointments generally last about an hour.

We feel our clients are 'experts' on themselves and we respect each client's personal goals in therapy, using a combination of counselling approaches to achieve these goals. Whether the issue is anxiety, depression, relationship problems or bullying at work, we seek to understand the problem from the client's point of view in order to faciltate change or resolution. For more information about our approach to counselling and psychotherapy, please continue here. Skype counselling is also available.

At all times we operate a policy of non-discrimination on grounds of age, race, gender, sexuality, religion, illness or ethnicity. And we do not judge behaviour, personal choices or past experiences.

Everyone's counselling needs are different. Some people benefit from just a few sessions while others continue for longer. Clients may end therapy at any time, simply by letting us know.
